Ahmedabad Attacked

So Where next?

Serial blasts have hit Ahmadabad killing at least 18 30 people,

Sixteen blasts have rocked Ahmedabad killing 18 and injuring over 100 people on Saturday evening. The first blast took place in Bapunagar at 6:45 pm.

The blasts took place in Maninagar, Sarkhej, Isanpur, Bapunagar and Haksar. Maninagar being Gujarat CM Narendra Modi’s constituency.[link]

Bangalore yesterday. Ahemdabad today. So where next?

Why is the first reaction after every blast is to appeal to the people to maintain communal harmomy? When was the last time there were riots after bomb blasts?

Update: If Shivraj Patil wasn’t enough, now we have the junior home minister making equally ridiculous remarks,

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Home Affairs Shakeel Ahmed also expressed shock. “We are surprised and shocked. Yesterday, it was Banglore. Today it is Ahmedabad. This happened even after the government of India issued high alerts to all sensitive states. We condemn the blast,” he said.[link]

Someone should tell the honorable minister that terrorists don’t go by government of India’s advisories.
