CNN-IBN Hits a New Low
Rumor Mongering
In the fight to get the latest news, the Indian media has gone nuts. A few minutes back CNN-IBN began reporting that fresh firing has been reported from GT Hospital and VT railway station. Rajdeep Sardeasi was drilling one of his reporter demanding precise knowledge of what was happening. The poor reporter kept repeating that she was not sure and this may just be a rumor but Sardesai kept demanding an answer. It took him another ten minutes before he realized it was a rumor and he finally dropped the story.
At this moment of crisis, can the Indian media show some maturity? Please?
