Quite a few commenters have stated something on these lines: " The leaders of Bhumi Uchchhed PS are ex-cpi(m) men. They know how the wrath of the party works because they have meted it out to others before. They also know that they will not find forgiveness in the party. Like all communist parties, at the top level cpim is medieval. So these are desperate men fighting for their lives."
